Historical charm of the hotel building, relaxing outdoor pool area, close proximity to D-Day historical sites

The absence of air conditioning left rooms uncomfortably warm during our stay!!! Plus, the narrow and winding stairs without lift access were a real hassle, especially for the luggage!!!

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, with spacious seating in the garden area perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions, and the convenient roundtrip airport shuttle made our arrival smooth.

All was perfect.

I loved the immaculate and spacious rooms, which were perfectly decorated and very comfortable. The bed felt luxurious with its quality linens, and the pillows provided an excellent night's sleep. The location was a major plus, just a 10-minute walk to Arromanches town center and the beach. The terrace was a lovely spot for evening drinks. Breakfast was delicious, featuring a good variety of choices. However, I found the stairs inconvenient, especially since there was no lift access to our room on the top floor, making it tricky to carry luggage. The absence of an on-site restaurant limited our dining options, forcing us to walk into town. Fortunately, the staff were friendly and provided assistance with our bags, making check-in smooth. The hotel definitely could use clearer signage and info about the dining arrangements upfront, as it would help manage expectations better.

My room was clean and modern, with comfortable furnishings. The staff were very helpful, assisting with car hire and recommendations for nearby dining. Breakfast was good, providing a nice variety of options. Overall, the peaceful atmosphere and convenience of the location truly enhanced my stay.

The staff were super friendly, helped us with our bags immediately upon arrival. Also, we enjoyed some relaxing afternoons on the terrace with a glass of local beer, perfect setting for unwinding.
